About the Wine: This blend combines two of Adam Carruth’s favorite things: Sonoma County and Bordeaux grape varietals. Claret is a term for a Bordeaux Blend, and this wine is just that with 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Over the years, Adam has sourced the majority of our grapes from Sonoma County. It’s the perfect growing region, with varied climates and geographical conditions it allows for a diverse range of grapes to be grown, which gives us the opportunity to experiment and play in the cellar. This is the first time we’ve released the Claret Blend and we are so excited to share this wine with you!
Tasting notes: Blackberry, plum, vanilla, clove, medium bodied tannins, great nightly sipper
