About the Wine: The last vintage of the Tattoo Blend we produced was back in 2015, we are so excited to bring back one of our member’s favorite blends! Label is designed by our good friend Dave Hartman, owner of Big Fish Tattoo in Solana Beach. Comprised of Zinfandel, Syrah, Cab Sauv, and Petit Verdot, all the fruit in this blend is sourced from the renowned Reynoso Vineyard in Alexander Valley. Following the Russian River as it flows from Mendocino County southeast to Healdsburg, the Alexander Valley AVA has a sleepy, agricultural character. But don’t let that fool you; with soils similar to Bordeaux, the Alexander Valley is producing some of the world’s best grapes.
Tasting Notes: On this full-bodied red, the nose starts with dark notes of blackberry and cherry, leading way to violet & granite. Silky tannins will make this your new favorite wine!
Food Pairings: Great food-friendly wine. Pair with most meats, but also pizza, pasta or burgers!
